Course Description
The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) is an amendment to the Solid Waste Disposal Act. It was enacted in 1976 to address the huge volumes of municipal and industrial waste generated in the United States. This training provides essential information on the RCRA standard and the requirements to comply.
After completion of the online RCRA Hazardous Waste Training, a certification will be issued.
Industries/Applications Needing RCRA Certification:
– Transport Companies: Operators moving hazardous materials by road, rail, air, or water.
– Manufacturers/Distributors: Businesses producing or shipping regulated materials like chemicals, gases, or batteries.
– Shipping and Freight: Companies managing logistics of hazmat transportation.
– Health and Safety (EHS): Professionals responsible for regulatory compliance in handling dangerous goods.
Training Description
- After registration, we will provide access and instructions to complete the online RCRA Hazardous Waste Training Course.
- The course is approximately 2 hours.
- Three-year certification will be issued upon completion of the session.
